Father Mark O’Keefe has been the president-rector of Saint Meinrad School of Theology since 1996. An educator and moral theologian, he has a doctorate in sacred theology from The Catholic University of America. This book is a part of a series of five books on the priesthood. The others are: Priestly Prayer: Reflections on Prayer in the Life of the Priest, Priestly Wisdom: Insights from St. Benedict, Priestly Virtues: Reflections on the Moral Virtues in the Life of the Priest, and In Persona Christi: Reflections on Priestly Identity and Holiness.

He is also a frequent speaker at gatherings of bishops, priests, seminarians and parish groups.
