This solid bronze plaque, designed by Egino Weinert, a master bronze-smith from Germany, makes a unique gift for any special occasion. Saint Benedict (c. 2 March 480 – c. 21 March 547 AD) is a Christian saint venerated in the Catholic Church. Saint Benedict’s main achievement, his “Rule of Saint Benedict“, contains a set of rules for monks to follow. This small bronze piece measures 1.94 inches wide and 2.25 inches high.
About the artist:
In more than 70 years of creative work, hanging crosses, tabernacles, baptismal fonts, sculptures, glass windows, chalices, enamel paintings, crosses and more than 1,200 namesakes as well as extraordinary gold and silver jewelry pieces and much more were created.
